Established in 1965 by the Bapuji Educational Association, JJM Medical College (JJMMC) is one of Karnataka’s oldest and most respected private medical institutions, located in Davangere. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Diverse Academic Programs
JJMMC offers a full-time MBBS program with a duration of 5.5 years, including a one-year rotating internship. The program admits 245 students annually, providing them with a solid foundation in both basic and clinical medical sciences. Postgraduate programs include MD and MS degrees in over 20 specialties such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Radiodiagnosis, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Clinical Training and Career Support
JJMMC provides its students with hands-on clinical experience at two major teaching hospitals—Bapuji Hospital and Chigateri General Hospital—with a combined capacity of over 2000 beds.
